THE TEAM VOCATIONAL 1.
OUR INTRODUCTION.
It was a cold evening of 23rd of February 1905, four professionals each one top in his Vocational field, met for camaraderie amongst business Associates and thus brought together: Paul Harris- A Lawyer, Gustavus Loehr- A Mining Engineer, Silvester Schiele-A Coal Dealer and Hiram E. Shorey- A Merchant Tailor. This meeting eventually culminated into an Organization of Service and Fellowship- A Movement called Rotary International globally. All these founders from different Vocations brought different Prospective to the Organization-Rotary International. Its Motto ” Service Above Self” embodies the Humanitarian Spirit. Rotary’s Five Pillars- Avenues of Service, guide its activities. The five Pillars are: 1) CLUB SERVICE 2) VOCATIONAL SERVICE 3) COMMUNITY SERVICE 4) INTERNATIONAL SERVICE 5) THE NEW GENERATION SERVICE....
Keeping in Sync. with Rotary International Mission and Vision, District Governor Rtn. Sunnil Mehra of District 3141-Mumbai, formed the Team-Vocational 1 ( 2nd Pillar of Avenue of Service ) from Rotarians of this district, from across the broad spectrum
of Diverse Vocations. The team Vocational 1 members have vast experience and penchant for serving the community and the under privileged. The team truly wants to give back to the Community and the World at large. Through Vocational
service, we volunteer our Performance Skills to serve others and Promote Integrity, Ethics and Values in everything we do. The Vocational 1 team, structure is a very well defined, with a PDG Raj Kumar Bagadia –Education Management-
as the Advisor, PP Rtn. Capt. Ashok Aggarwal Dean of a Maritime Institute, as Project Director to Oversee and Execute the Activities.

Career Guidance and Motivation. The team is launching this, Unique Career guidance Portal, conceived by Rtn. Capt. Ashok Aggarwal and executed by Rtn. Viren Jethwa, with inputs from all the Team members.This Career Guidance Portal
